People with disability

Thought Compass provides community-based supports for people living with disability across different life stages. We work alongside individuals, families and support networks to strengthen independence, participation and overall wellbeing.

Our team supports people with a range of needs including neurodevelopmental conditions, psychosocial disability and complex support requirements. Services are designed to build practical skills, strengthen confidence and support meaningful participation in everyday life.

A young woman with long brown hair, wearing a turquoise top and beige pants, sits on a bed with her laptop on her lap. She is wearing large headphones and has her left hand on her face, resting near her eye. A small brown and white dog with large ears is sitting behind her, looking at her. The bed has a soft pink blanket, and there are clothes and other items scattered around.

How we support

Our approach is person-centred and strengths-based. We work collaboratively with the individual and their support network to ensure supports are practical, consistent and aligned with each person’s goals and direction

Community access and social participation

Goal-focused support aligned with personal plans

Collaboration with families, therapists and support teams

Two colleagues, a man with dark hair and a beard, and a woman with red hair, are smiling and giving each other a high-five across a cluttered office desk with papers, a laptop, and coffee cups. They are in a bright office with a brick wall and large windows.

Emotional regulation and wellbeing support

Funding & access

Supports may be accessed through a range of pathways, including NDIS funding, private services, and referrals through community, education, health, or other service systems. We work alongside individuals, families, and support networks to identify the most appropriate pathway and ensure supports are accessible, responsive, and aligned with individual needs.
